Mt Schank

Twenty minutes south of Mount Gambier is Mount Schank, an extinct volcano rising from the plains to 158 metres above sea level. Choose from two steep walking tracks on both the inside and outside of the crater, offering not only a workout, but a fascinating geological experience. The Mount Schank viewing platform takes you to the crater rim, with the floor walk allowing you to walk along the crater floor.
