Are you always on the lookout for a new café, bar or restaurant to indulge yourself, family and friends?
No sweat…we have you covered! Every week AGFG will aim to let you know what new venues have opened in your area and why you should give them a try.
You can help too – just click here to email our PR team and let us know of a new eatery in your suburb so we can inform everyone and help these establishments thrive and survive during tough times.
Join the society of people who need an early morning brew to function at The Morning Coffee Society on The Entrance Road at Long Jetty. This locally-loved Central Coast café is the ideal place to start or finish your day in child and dog-friendly surrounds alfresco; while indoors is white, bright and breezy with potted greenery, comfy couches and table settings.
Why should you dine at The Morning Coffee Society? Here are three good reasons:
What’s your most popular dish/drink:
From the moment we opened our favourite was our housemade waffles and our new take on eggs Benny - doing it with pulled pork - not many people on the coast had even heard of it. But now we have die-hard fans that can’t seem to order anything else.
What's your point of difference:
We have a HUGE focus on gluten-free options, we want to educate people that it’s okay to eat gluten-free and it actually can be just as nice or if not nicer than your full gluten options.
This is something that can be hard when planning menus but a challenge we feel we are winning. This sets us far apart from many other places, it allows us to be creative and offers something new to the coast.
What is a fun fact that not many people know about the venue?
This shop has been years in the making bringing 10 years of hospitality experience together with a welcoming down-to-earth relaxing place that encompasses country neighbourly love, where people create relationships with others around them.
"My Dad came and lived with us for two months to help build it and my husband spend all school holidays and weekends building, not to mention the days of babysitting that my Mother-in-law gave us,” says owner Hannah Ryan.
"This cafe could also never of happened without my dearest friends at Glee coffee roasters who gave me insight into hospitality - my ‘short few months’ plan to get me to my next adventure fast turned into nearly 10 years working for them.”
